Valiant started with a simple frustration: idle games respected our time but not our depth, and MMOs respected our depth but not our time. We grew up on EverQuest's social fabric, RuneScape's long arcs, Guild Wars' build chess, and Path of Exile's loot — and we wanted that world at the pace of an adult life. So we built it: one persistent world that resolves every 15 minutes, whether you're watching or not.
What's live today
This is a real game, playable now, free, in your browser: 20 zones across four tiers with 10 lore-bearing world bosses; 7 classes evolving into 14 specializations; a 126-talent system with a genuine combat action economy; itemization with 72 affixes, 100+ legendaries, and 108 socketable inscriptions; a player market; companions; full guilds with applications and chat; and the Descent — a daily endless dungeon for five-player parties with a permanent Hall of Fame.
What's next
In the forge right now: Crafting v2 (deterministic crafting with gems and food buffs), completing the talent effect wiring, and world-boss legendary sets. On the horizon, the two big pillars: Raids — designed as configuration warfare, where the preparation is the fight — and Conquest, guild territory war across the world's eight regions. We publish the honest status on our roadmap and in weekly patch notes here.
Alpha means alpha
You'll find rough edges; you'll also find developers who answer in Discord within hours and ship weekly. We don't plan progression wipes. Early players are shaping balance decisions that will define the game for years — the Hall of Fame already has names in it that newcomers will never dislodge from those first pages.
