Valiant

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we'll never do with it.

Last updated: June 12, 2026 · Applies to the-valiant.com and the Valiant game at valiantmmo.com.

What we collect

Account data: an email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase), plus the username you choose. Gameplay data: your characters, items, progress, chat messages, and social actions — the game can't exist without these. Usage analytics: the game uses Microsoft Clarity (session analytics and heatmaps) and this website uses privacy-respecting page analytics, in both cases to understand what's confusing or broken — not to build advertising profiles.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't send marketing email unless you explicitly subscribe, and every email has an unsubscribe link that works.

Cookies

The game uses cookies for one essential purpose: keeping you logged in. Analytics tools may set their own cookies; see Microsoft Clarity's policy for details on theirs.

Where your data lives

Game data is hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL, US region) and the sites are served via Netlify. Payment processing, when it launches, will be handled by Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting privacy@the-valiant.com or the developers on Discord. Deletion is permanent — characters included.

Age

Valiant is intended for players 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll announce it in the game's news feed and Discord before it takes effect.
