Crafting, Gathering & Provisions

In the current system (Crafting v4), crafting is instant — you spend materials and the item is rolled on the spot, just like a drop. The wait lives in gathering, an account-wide dispatch across four lines. A provisions bench cooks food and drink buffs.

Instant crafting

Pick a recipe, spend the gathered materials from your account bank, and the finished gear is minted immediately — rolling its base stats, sockets, and affixes exactly the way a dropped item does. You can craft up to 10 at once. Early-tier crafts even come with a useful pre-filled socket, so a fresh character's crafted gear is never dead weight.

Tip

Because crafted items roll like drops, crafting is a way to "farm" a specific slot you keep missing — spend the mats, re-roll the outcome, and chase a good one.

The gathering dispatch

Gathering is account-wide, not tied to a character's expedition. You send your gathering party to one of four lines for a duration you choose (15 minutes to 8 hours, in 15-minute steps — the same rhythm as a combat run). Yield scales with the time invested, and only one party is out at a time. Collect it to bank the materials for crafting.

Provisions

The provisions bench cooks food and drink from gathered ingredients (an herb sets the effect, with a base, a catch, and an optional pearl for a quality gamble). You keep one food and one drink active in your camp larder to buff your whole roster.

Heads up

Provisions are a newer addition and their combat buffs are still being wired in — you can cook and set them now, but treat the bonuses as coming online rather than fully live. We'll update this page the moment they're active.
